Review of my experience with SageEden: Save The Moment, Event Planning Services
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Sharell Ferguson at the Iron Network Inc. ‘Women! Power & Purpose' conference in October 2009, where both she & I were featured speakers. During her eloquent business presentation, I was pleased to learn that her company Sage Eden, specialized in event planning and had earned a reputation as professional event planners, which I gathered from her track record of success in the field. This intrigued me as I was planning the launch of my new book ‘It Could Happen To You' in November and was not making much progress on my own, to say the least. I realized then that our meeting was no accident and I immediately scheduled a consult with Sage Eden for my event.
Consultation
I was a bit anxious at first, but after hearing Ms Ferguson's recommendations which depicted her wealth of knowledge in the business, assured me that I was in good hands. She was very accommodating and even tailored an attractive package to suit my budget. She formalized a list of special guests which included The Honorable Loretta Butler Turner, Minister of State, Ministry of Labor &Social Development and Dr. Sandra Dean-Patterson, Director of The Bahamas Crisis Centre. She prepared a professional media release article for the local newspaper & television, created an educational power-point presentation that complemented my speech and provided frequent updates of the planning process.
The Event
The official book launch of ‘It Could Happen To You' was held on Sat. Nov 14, 2009 at Chapter One Bookstore, Oakes Field. I arrived to my event a few minutes late and was relieved to discover that Ms. Ferguson of Sage Eden, had already set-up the area, displayed my books/products and began seating guest as they arrived. Ms Ferguson even substituted as Master of Ceremony for the event when my scheduled M.C sent regrets at the last minute. Sage Eden made my book launch a memorable success. I highly recommend the company !

Brittany and I were married on July 15, 2008. Twelve days later I began the initial phases of my deployment to Afghanistan. Only after two short weeks together, we prepared ourselves to spend our first year of marriage apart. I was blessed to return to my lovely wife on 21 July 2009, six days after our first anniversary. After such a difficult year apart, we wanted an escape. And what better place to seek our escape than The Bahamas, where we could share our blessed happiness with Sharell & SageEden. Unable to share in the traditional bliss of matrimony, she supported us during the entire deployment. To help celebrate our marriage and our first anniversary, she surprised us with a photo shoot as a special anniversary gift. Hi, I'm Miquelle and I had the extreme pleasure of having SageEden plan and coordinate my baby shower on November 14th, 2009. "Twenty five years", "a quarter of a century", "silver jubilee" or however you term it...my twenty-fifth birthday was unforgettable thanks to Sharell, SageEden founder and personal friend. Who else could orchestrate a surprise party at my own home!? Understanding that all I needed to make my Valentine 25th spectacular was to be surrounded by the friends and family I hold dear, this exuberant and loving young lady saw fit that I celebrated my birthday in grand style taking care of every detail (including the decor, guest list, and dress code)! To put the icing on the cake (no birthday pun intended), a beautiful collage reflecting some of my most cherished moments adorned an easel the entire night, on which all in attendance had the opportunity to share their birthday prayers and wishes with me. The same lovely piece now hangs on the wall in my bed chamber and is a precious reminder of that lovely night and my dear family and friends who shared it with me!
